Pastor Kevin Dieckilman PhD.
Dr. Kevin Dieckilman is the founder and CEO of Imagine Ministries and One Heart for Israel, non-profit religious educational organizations (501c3) committed to bringing the Word of God alive through creative learning experiences while building bridges between the Christian and Jewish communities around the world.
For twenty-five years Kevin, has organized and lead over sixty-five study tours to Israel helping people discover firsthand the Land of the Bible. Pastor Dieckilman has developed tours for the public, college students, pastors and military chaplains. He has been involved in archaeological digs throughout Israel and has done extensive study and research in Nazareth, Jerusalem and the City of David. In cooperation with archaeologists and the Government of Israel, he has developed the first curriculum to be used on Christian college and university campuses on "The History of Israel". One Heart for Israel has hosted “Distinguished Speakers” throughout the year from around the world who are experts in their field from historians and archaeologists to scholars and political leaders.
Dr. Dieckilman served as the senior pastor of Simi Hills Christian Church for twenty years in Simi Valley, Ca. He holds a B.S. in Christian Ministry, MDiv. in Theology, and a PhD in Biblical Archaeology. He is an innovative pastor and teacher using many creative methods to teach and illustrate biblical stories, people and places through video, drama and reproductions.
Dr. Dieckilman works with many Jewish organizations such as Stand with Us, Jewish Federation, Israel-American Council, and Nefesh B’Nefesh, as well as speaking at many Jewish and Christian events. He has also served on the executive committees in Los Angeles on the annual Israeli Independence Day Festival and the annual Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces Gala.
He served as one of the founders and controller for the Israel Christian Nexus for several years with Israel’s Brigadier General Shimon Erem. Kevin served as a member of the Heroin Task Force of Simi Valley California representing the churches in the war against drugs. He has served on the president’s advisory committee of Hope International University, as a member of the oversight committee of the North American Christian Convention and is a board member of Strategic Communications, a non-profit organization which owns and operates Christian radio stations around the world and the Voice of Hope which broadcasts into the Muslim countries in the mid-east and Europe. Today he also serves on governing boards of other nonprofit organizations. Kevin also serves as a chaplain in the Air Force reserve.
He is the author of dozens of articles and the soon to be released book “From the Hands of the Carpenter”.
Dr. Dieckilmans’ passion for Imagine Ministries is working to equip pastors and teachers with fresh meaning within and behind the biblical stories to better understand and teach the depth of God’s Word in today’s culture. We also partner with Christian churches and universities throughout America to educate the Christian, political and secular communities with the truth regarding Israel and strengthen and promote Judeo-Christian values.
In leading Imagine Ministries, he has created a 360 projection mapping presentation in Huntsville, Alabama where people can be immersed in the places anywhere in Israel. This presentation includes full-size replicas of the carpenter shop of Jesus in Nazareth and all the furnishings in the Holy Place from the wilderness Tabernacle and Solomon’s Temple beginning with The Ark of the Covenant.
Ancient Paths is a collection of Dr. Dieckilmans’ Biblical artifacts incorporated into an interactive museum of over one-hundred and fifty original and replica historical pieces on display for the purpose of teaching the meaning of historical truths.
He is the creator and designer of “The DIG Experience” a forty-five-acre archeological theme park being constructed to offer opportunities for people to be involved in a simulated archaeological dig.
